Caddie Program

At East Lake, all players are required to use a caddie and walk the golf course. Caddies are trained in all aspects of the game, including etiquette, green reading, yardages, club rules, and the history of East Lake. The Club employs over 125 caddies during peak season. East Lake Golf Club is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing all employees with a safe drug-free workplace.

Each year, a small group of new caddies are selected from The First Tee of East Lake program. This year-round golf instruction and mentoring initiative of the East Lake Foundation helps to enhance the academic achievement and life skills of area youth and open doors to college scholarships, business connections and jobs.
